Gerald R. Ford International Airport is a commercial airport located approximately 13 mi (21 km) southeast of Grand Rapids, Michigan in Cascade Township. Originally called Kent County Airport and later Kent County International Airport; in December 1999 the airport was renamed for former resident Gerald R. Ford, the 38th President of the United States.
The airport is the largest regional commercial service airport serving the West Michigan region, and is the second largest airport in Michigan behind Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. The airport offers service to 23 domestic and 1 international destination. The international service is to Toronto-Pearson in Canada.
Gerald R. Ford International Airport has two parallel east-west runways and one north-south runway. Along with cargo and general aviation facilities, the airport also has one passenger terminal, consisting of a two-level main terminal and two concourses, labeled A, with seven gates, and B, with six gates.

Please Note: The passenger terminal curb front is limited to immediate pick-up and drop-off only, as well as valet parking service. Vehicles may not park or wait at the terminal curb front.

Please note: Shuttle service from the Economy Lot is provided from the bus shelters located throughout the lot. Shuttles operate on a timed route and arrive every 15-18 minutes. Shuttles operate 24 hours a day and are wheelchair lift equipped.
* A Lost Ticket Fee of $10.00 will be assessed when the original parking stub cannot be produced when exiting the parking facilities (does not apply to Valet Parking).
Cell Phone Lot
GFIA offers the convenience of a Cell Phone Lot for those who are picking up arriving passengers. Located on Ross Dr., just south of Oostema Blvd. near the airport entrance, the Cell Phone Lot offers time-limited, free parking while you wait for your passenger to call and let you know they are ready to be picked up at the terminal curb front. You must remain in your vehicle at all times in the Cell Phone Lot.
