Piedmont Triad International Airport
Located at the center of North Carolina and the midpoint of the East Coast, PTI is strategically positioned at the hub of the dynamic Piedmont Triad region, situated between the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point where I-40, I-85 and the future I-73 and I-74 converge. More than 4.5 million people live within a 90-minute drive of PTIA.
Piedmont Triad International Airport is part of a 4,000-acre campus, home to more than 50 companies that infuse an estimated $1 billion into the local community annually. More than 4,000 people work on the campus. PTI is owned and operated by the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority. No local tax dollars are used to operate the airport.
New passenger terminal facilities began operations on October 9, 1982 and have undergone several renovations and expansions.
The passenger terminal building contains:
-- 296,000 square feet of area on two public levels
-- 65,000 square feet on the service level below ground level
-- 25 aircraft parking positions adjacent to the two concourses
-- Separate baggage claim and ticket counter areas for each concourse
The airfield facilities include three runways:
--The main runway 5/23 is 10,001 feet long
-- The cross-wind runway 14/32 is 6,380 feet long
-- Parallel Runway 5L/23R 9,000 feet long

The Airport Parking rates, garages and lots etc are currently managed by the airport authority. The parking rate schedule is subject to change and may have been revised since the last update of this page - please check for the latest fees through the parking map and rate calculator above or by visiting the Airport's official web site.
At PTI, parking makes getting to your destination easier, not harder. Our multi-level parking garage features 2,000 parking spaces and is located directly across from the terminal building to get you in and on your way quickly. Surface lots for long-term parking are also located across from the terminal building. Our parking facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Garage
The garage is located approximately 40 yards directly across from the terminal. The entrance is located across from baggage claim level or on the upper level across from the terminal building. Clearance is 7 feet.
Effective 3-1-13 = $10.00 per 24 hrs (major credit cards accepted)
Long term garage prorated rates: 1 hour = $1.00, 2 hours = $2.00, 3 hours = $3.00, 4 hours = $4.00, 5 hours = $5.00, 6 hours = $6.00, 7 hours = $7.00 and 8 hours = $10.00.
Maximum daily charge is $10.00
No shuttle is provided to or from the garage
Long-Term
Long-term surface parking lots are located on both sides of the parking garage.
Effective 3-1-13 = $8.00 per 24 hrs. (major credit cards accepted)
Long term lot prorated rates: 1 hour = $1.00, 2 hours = $2.00, 3 hours = $3.00, 4 hours = $4.00, 5 hours = $5.00, 6 hours = $6.00, 7 hours = $7.00 and 8 hours = $8.00.
Free shuttle service available to and from the terminal 24 hours a day at 10-20 minute intervals. Shuttle buses are handicap-lift equipped
Short-Term
Short-term parking is available at meters in front of the building for up to two hours.
Valet
