Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport
Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport, also known as GSP, or Roger Milliken Field, is a public airport located near Greer, South Carolina, about halfway between Greenville and Spartanburg, the major cities of the Upstate region. The airport is the second-busiest airport in South Carolina.
Prior to GSP, Greenville and Spartanburg had separate airports and competed for airline service. Roger Milliken and other Upstate business leaders helped to create the vision of a shared airport facility.
The GSP terminal building has in excess of 226,000 square feet of space, second level jet bridge boarding and thirteen departure gates.
Two Federal Inspection Stations (FIS) consisting of Customs, Immigrations and Agriculture are located at GSP. The first FIS facility located under the south concourse is designed to handle 250 international passengers per hour. The second FIS location on the north cargo ramp is designed to handle cargo and corporate aircraft that require international clearance.
