McGhee Tyson Airport
McGhee Tyson Airport is a public and military use airport serving the Knoxville metropolitan area. It is located 10 nautical miles (12 mi, 19 km) south of the central business district of Knoxville, in Alcoa, Blount County, Tennessee, United States.
McGhee Tyson Airport has two levels. The top level is accessed via the curbside drop off and the parking garage. The top level is used for ticket counters, security, gates, restaurants, and shops. It is designed with a Smoky Mountain theme, complete with faux waterfalls and wood carvings of bears. The bottom level is used for car rental counters, two baggage claims, and airline offices.

The Airport Parking rates, garages and lots etc are currently managed by the airport authority. The parking rate schedule is subject to change and may have been revised since the last update of this page - please check for the latest fees through the parking map and rate calculator above or by visiting the Airport's official web site.
ECONOMY LOT: $1.00 per 1/2 hour or maximum of $8.00 per day
LONG TERM: $1.00 per 1/2 hour or maximum of $10.00 per day
SHORT TERM: $1.00 per 1/2 hour or maximum of $18.00 per day

Important Parking Notes: For oversized vehicles, the parking garage ceiling clearance level in the Short Term parking lot is 7 feet, 2 inches. For the Long Term parking lot, the clearance level is 7 feet, 10 inches. All airport parking lots provide accessible parking spaces. If you need wheelchair assistance at your vehicle, please notify an airport employee located curbside or phone (865) 342-3180 between the hours of 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily.
If you are planning to pick up a passenger quickly, try the airport's Phone & Wait Lot for FREE temporary parking.
Located along Airport Loop Road, the Phone & Wait Lot allows you to stay with your vehicle while you wait for your guest to arrive. When your guest is ready to be picked up, they simply use their cellular telephone or one of the airport's courtesy telephones to call and arrive a pick-up location. The map provide on this page will show you how to find the Phone & Wait Lot.
