Street meters hours are Monday - Saturday 8:00 am-6:00 pm and lots are Monday- Saturday 8:00 am -10:00 pm.

Meter Parking
Pittsburgh Parking Authority (PPA) manages and regulates all parking based activities in the city. There are approximately 8,500 metered spaces located on-street and in PPA neighborhood metered lots. Technicians from the Authority Meter Shop inspect meters on a daily basis. Response time to repair a reported malfunctioning meter is usually within 24 hours. On-street meters and lot meters duration, rate and time may vary according to the time demanded at each location.

Resident Parking Permits
The Residential Permit Parking Program (RPPP) was designed to free up on-street parking for neighborhood residents by preventing all day commuters parking on residential streets.
