Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is the primary commercial airport serving the City of Reno metropolitan area, western Nevada, and eastern California. This joint use civilian-military airport is a favorite among tourists because of its close proximity to vacation and ski resorts and outdoor recreation facilities in Lake Tahoe. Reno Airport is owned and operated by the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority. There are 3,632 Reno Airport parking spaces available on-site at RNO. These are found in a 3-story garage located in front of the terminal building and in a surface parking lot located near the parking structure. Services include short-term, hourly, daily, garage, and long-term parking. Lastly, RNO travelers have the option to park at privately-run off-airport facilities like the Thrifty parking lot on E Plumb Lane.
