Tallahassee City Parking Guide
About Tallahassee : Tallahassee is the capital of the U.S. state of Florida. Tallahassee is home to several colleges and universities, notably Florida State University and Florida A&M University. Tallahassee is a center for trade and agriculture in the Florida Panhandle and is served by Tallahassee Regional Airport.
Tallahassee has a humid subtropical climate, with long summers and short, mild winters, as well as drier springs and autumns. Summers here are hotter than in the Florida peninsula.
Parking in the city of Tallahassee: The City of Tallahassee owns two public parking garages and two surface lots. The Property Management division oversees operations of all these facilities, although they are actually operated by Republic Parking, a parking-management firm. On-street parking is managed by the Public Works Capital Programs division, with enforcement by Tallahassee Police Department.
For off street parking, there are a plenty of garage parking options available in and around the city. One may choose to park in a garage if the parking requirement is for more than just an hour or two. Parking Garages are highly suitable for both short and long term parking requirements.
Best Parking helps you choose the best suitable parking facility for off street parking via an interactive map. Most garages are suitable options for economical long term parking.
